What does the application process look like?
We'll get in touch within 5 working days of your application. If it feels like a match, we'll schedule an (online) introductory interview. Depending on the role, a second interview or an assessment may follow.
I don't meet all the criteria listed in a vacancy, can I still apply?
Absolutely! If you think your experience or motivation would make a valuable contribution, we encourage you to apply.

Can I work from home?
Yes, people in office roles can work from home part of the time. We're a close-knit team and we'd like to keep it that way, so we also enjoy seeing each other at the office. For hands-on roles on the shop floor, working from home isn't possible.
Do I get a work laptop?
Some roles come with a laptop from us, such as office and customer service positions. You can take it home, so you're always free to work flexibly.
Is lunch provided?
To keep your energy up, you can join a fully catered lunch for a small monthly contribution.
Can I work at Mantel without experience in the bike industry?
Definitely! For many roles, bike industry experience is a plus but not a requirement. Above all we're looking for enthusiastic people who want to learn. For technical roles we provide in-house training and coaching.
Does Mantel offer training and career progression?
Definitely! Your personal development matters to us. That's why you and your manager discuss what you'd like to learn and what you need to get there. We offer training, workshops and opportunities to grow internally. That way you keep moving, just like on a bike!
Is Dutch required?
For most roles it's important that you speak and understand Dutch. In some cases English may be enough, depending on the role.
Can I do an internship or graduation project at Mantel?
Yes! We regularly have internships and graduation projects available. Check our vacancies page or send an email to recruitment@mantel.com.
How quickly will I hear back after applying?
We aim to respond to your application within 5 working days. You'll always get a reply, even if we don't see a match.
How does scheduling work?
The schedule is drawn up in consultation and shared well in advance. For roles with varying shifts we take your availability into account.
Do I get a staff discount?
You certainly do! Every year you get up to €500 in staff discount: 10% on everything and 20% on bikes. On top of that, our suppliers offer great benefits too. Not bad, right?
Does Mantel offer a pension scheme?
Yes, we have a pension scheme (PMT), disability insurance (WIA) and we fall under the Dutch collective labour agreement for the motor vehicle and two-wheeler industry (cao Motorvoertuigen- en Tweewielerbedrijf).
